Returned Plan Information  
Patient Eligibility has been updated to allow users to add returned plan information even when a patient already has a plan with the same rank. This update eliminates the need to leave the eligibility response screen to edit or end an existing plan, creating a smoother workflow.  

Smarter Patient Tasks  
The "Missing Active Patient Plan" task has been updated to evaluate plan coverage only through the current evaluation date when the active Financial Class is a plan. This helps reduce unnecessary patient tasks for future coverage periods.  

Common Brand Name Management  
Users can now define, edit, or clear Common Brand Names for both manual and FDB item records. Administrators also have the option to disable future FDB updates for this field, giving pharmacies greater control over item information.  

Support For Repackaged Medications 

PrimeCare now supports Country of Origin documentation and printing for prescription labels, helping pharmacies comply with updated U.S. Customs requirements for repackaged medications.  

Sort Rejection Descriptions  

A new workflow option allows pharmacies to sort the Error Resolution queue by  

rejection description, making it easier to identify and resolve similar claim rejections.  

Medicare MFP Enhancements  

New enhancements for the CMS Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program include additional Refund Paid and Refund Paid Date fields, along with improvements to MTF 835 processing for more accurate payment reconciliation.

Free Age-Friendly Pharmacist Recognition Program

Looking for a professional development opportunity? The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) offers a free Age-Friendly Pharmacist program designed to help pharmacists better care for older adults through the 4Ms Framework: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility. Participants can also earn an Age-Friendly Pharmacist digital badge upon completion.
