Use the new cloud-based RedSail Patient Chart to log and track patient clinical findings such as lab and vital measurements, allergies, social history, and history of present illness. This information, as well as patient problems and pharmacy-made consultations, can be documented in a Pharmacist Electronic Care Plan (PeCP) directly from the Patient Chart. The data can then be submitted to the Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network (CPESN®) if the pharmacy has enabled the RedSail Patient Chart and signed a CPESN Service Authorization Form.
Enrollment will begin with the general release of Service Pack 19.1.34.
The RedSail Hub is Here!
The RedSail Hub is live! The Hub is a centralized location for all things QS/1. It’s an intuitive, in-depth, customer-friendly portal that provides content and materials relevant to you and the products you use every day. With the all-new Hub, there is a greater level of productivity and interaction. One of the great benefits of having this portal is giving you access to the information that matters most to you at your convenience. If you haven’t already signed up, go to https://redsailtechnologies.com/hub.
eRx Network® (Change Healthcare™) has made changes to how claims are processed for eligibility checking. Most customers use the PCN CARDFINDER. This is now used for Part D eligibility checking and requires a SSN or a MBI/HIC ID on the Patient Record. eRx also has a PCN for commercial eligibility checking, COMMCF, that does not require a SSN or a MBI/HIC ID.
Many customers may have restricted security access on Price Plans, or if they have MSM™, they may not be able to modify certain fields on the Price Plan – such as the PCN. In these cases, it may be best to have the site set up a second Price Plan and switch in between the two under Store Level Options when the need to check Commercial or Part D is present. See the instructions here on how to do this for NRx/PrimeCare and MSM.
There are times when pharmacies report issues with getting clients to install and eRx information or documents not showing. Typically, the issue is the QS/1 folder on the server and secondary terminals does not have full control. Follow the steps below to prevent these issues:
Right click the QS1 Folder.
Left click Properties.
Click the Security tab.
Click Authenticated Users, Users, or Everyone.
Make sure Full control is checked.
If it’s not, click Edit, and then select the User Account needed.
Click Full control.
Click Apply.
