PrimeCare®: Facilities Converted to SCRIPT 2017 Notables
Be aware that users may observe new pop-ups when processing SCRIPT 2017 electronic prescriptions. These are part of the new SCRIPT standard for the RxFill messages reason codes. Most common conditions are 1) when partially dispensing a prescription, 2) dispensing generic when brand was ordered, or 3) when profiling an Rx. The prompt will be a pop-up with a default reason code selected (based on the prescription and/or the information from the electronic message). Users can accept the default reason code, select another one, or enter a free text reason. Please see the Hub for more details.
As of April 4, 2022, and through the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services started covering and paying for over-the-counter (OTC) COVID-19 tests at no cost to people with Medicare Part B, including those with Medicare Advantage plans.
