CONGRESS: Cosponsor the Preserving Patient Access to LTC Pharmacies Act
Senior Care Pharmacy Coalition is reporting great news — and an urgent next step. Representative Beth Van Duyne (R-TX) and Rep. Brad Schneider (D-IL) have introduced our critical legislation, the Preserving Patient Access to Long-Term Care Pharmacies Act (H.R. 5031).
This bill would establish a $30 supplemental supply fee on prescription drugs covered under Medicare-negotiated prices on January 1, 2026. Without timely relief, many LTC pharmacy locations across the country could be forced to close, cutting off essential medication access for seniors.
We need your help now to build support for this legislation and ensure it passes before the end of the year.
