PioneerRx Surpasses Tree Planting Pledge, Donating 1,111 Trees and Counting
PioneerRx has exceeded its initial pledge in partnership with One Tree Planted! The commitment to plant one tree for every PioneerRx system installed from April 1, 2023, to April 30, 2024, has resulted in the planting of over 1,111 trees and counting. This year-long pledge shows that our mission of Empowering Pharmacy, Transforming Care can take many forms, from driving business success to contributing to environmental sustainability and community well-being.
+Add Final Container Count to Compound Batch Work Area
The Final Container Count data field has been added to the Compound Batch work area. The new field can be found by navigating to Edit Compound > Batch History > New or Edit > Ingredients tab > Final Containers (added below Actual Amount Made).
This field will allow pharmacies to specify the number of containers they need for the entire Batch quantity they are making.
+Add Florida DWC10 Claim Form Report
The Florida DWC10 Claim Form report has been added to the Rx Transaction reports menu.
This report enables pharmacies to consolidate all necessary information in a single report for processing workers’ compensation claims in the state of Florida.
+Add Total Ingredient Cost Paid to Prescription Label Template
The TotalIngredientCostPaidFromReceivedEdi data field is now available on the Prescription Label template.
Having this field available will provide your pharmacy additional information to analyze reimbursement during workflow without reviewing and combining each claim response individually.
+Added Ability to Add/ Delete DUR Response(s) on a Claim
Added the ability to add or delete a DUR segment from a claim prior to resubmitting for workflow and user efficiency.
+Added Ability to Edit Pricing Formula on Guarantor Transaction
Added the ability to update the pricing formula on a guarantor transaction so users do not have to manually calculate for the price override.
+Added Refills Due Report
Added Refills Due report to provide a list of prescriptions that are either upcoming for refills or will soon expire. This allows the pharmacy to proactively send renewal requests to prescribers for prescriptions that are running out of refills or prescriptions that are expired or will expire soon.
+Added Item Price Changes Data Export
Added the Item Price Changes data export to provide a list of all active items and their pricing history. The report has the option to select either the most current price changes for the items or each price change that occurred between a date period.

Cardinal Health said on Monday its pharma distribution contracts with UnitedHealth Group Inc’s Optum Rx unit will not be renewed after they expire at the end of June. The drug distributor said it expects to partially offset the impact of losing the OptumRx contracts through a combination of new customer wins and growth in its specialty pharmacy business.
