+ Add Prescriber Address to Rx Queues

The Prescriber Address, Prescriber City, Prescriber State, and Prescriber Zip columns are now available on all Rx Queue grid layouts.

For prescriber profiles where there are different prescribers by the same name, or multiple profiles for the same prescriber at different locations, viewing this information in the PreCheck queue can help ensure the correct profile is consistently selected.

+ Add Latest Claim Reject Code Explanation to Rx Queue Grid Views

The Latest Claim Reject Code Explanation data field is now an available column on the Rx Queue grid views.

The pharmacy can review the rejection message for a prescription in various workflow states, including Waiting for Data Entry, without opening the prescription or moving to the rejected claims queue to review the claim information.

+ Added New Cycle Fill Settings for the Facility’s Calendar-Type Cycles

The cycle fill settings for the facility’s calendar-type cycles have been updated with new “Post submit to workflow” and “Post complete cycle” options for bypassing Scan to Tote and Packaging Policy.

+ Added Maximum Days Supply Item Exceptions on Plan Records

Under the Plan > Preferences page, the Maximum Days Supply Item Exceptions option has been added so that the pharmacy can set the maximum days supply for specific items under the plan.

+ Enhanced Keyboard/System Navigation Efficiency

Update has been made to automatically place the cursor/focus in the first field when opening a new tab, page, or dialog within Axys, allowing keyboard efficiency.

Investigations Underway After Series of Pharmacy Burglaries Across LA County

Police are investigating a string of burglaries targeting Los Angeles County pharmacies overnight. At least four stores were hit in Highland Park, Reseda, Encino, and Boyle Heights. No arrests have been made in any of the instances and no descriptions of suspects were available at the time of writing. It remains unclear how much was taken from each of the pharmacies.

Startup’s Blood Testing System to Launch in Austin Pharmacies

Some pharmacy customers in Austin and San Antonio will soon have the option to get routine blood tests with just a prick of the finger. Austin-based health care technology startup Babson Diagnostics announced Thursday that it will launch its blood testing system BetterWay at select Austin H-E-B pharmacies, Peoples Rx, and Lake Hills Pharmacy starting in July.
