+ Add Prescriber Information Tooltip At Data Entry
A new Prescriber Information tooltip has been added to the Add/Edit Rx work area. A yellow warning icon will be visible if the prescriber has a preferred inventory group set on their profile. Prescribers without a preferred inventory group will display the letter i next to the prescriber phone number.
This will allow employees to get a quick glimpse of all prescriber information when entering a prescription into the system. This will help data entry and precheck team members to verify required prescriber data before continuing workflow.
+ Add Increased Profit Opportunity Alert for Amneal Program
RedSail RxAdvantage Copay Assistance Program offers multiple ways to reduce the copay/out-of-pocket cost of products for your patients. In some cases, the pharmacy may be offered cost savings on the purchase of products from a wholesaler/manufacturer.
The informational pop-up relaying a message about the Amneal program will not only inform pharmacies who may not be aware of the Copay Assistance Program but will also provide a link for pharmacies to learn more about the offers. Additional offers will be added to this informational page.
+ Add Sold On Date to Rx Transaction Search Grid
The Sold On column is now an available column on the Rx Transaction Search Expanded, Expanded with Comments, and Financial grid view layouts. This column will not appear on any views by default and must be manually added via the Column Chooser if needed. To add the column, navigate to Rx > Binoculars (Search Rx) > Enter Search Criteria > Search > change view to Expanded, Expanded with Comments, or Financial > Field Chooser > Sold On.
For some pharmacies, the point of sale default settings may not set the Rx Transaction to complete until after the delivery signature is returned to the pharmacy and scanned into the system. The Sold On column will allow the pharmacy to see the sale/delivery transaction date as well as the final Completed date when reviewing Rx transactions in the advanced search grid.
+ Update to Compound Batch Tools
The Compound Item Profile and Batch Edit work area have been updated with multiple fields.
In the Compound Item Profile > Ingredients and Pricing tab, users will find a More [...] button next to Batch Quantity. This area will allow the user to add batch quantity defaults. This allows the pharmacy to create multiple default batch sizes and predefine the expected waste amount, scale amount, and quantity removed from inventory.
These changes will help pharmacies create batch default options and better document specific ingredient use with batch yield and waste.
