+ Add UsualAndCustomarySubmittedTotal and ThirdPartyCategoryList Fields to Rx Transaction Summary By Submission Type Report

The UsualAndCustomarySubmittedTotal and ThirdPartyCategoryList fields are now available on the Rx Transaction Summary By Submission Type report template. Neither of these data fields will appear on a report by default and must be manually added via the Report Designer if required.

The Rx Transaction Summary reports provide an excellent overview of third-party performance. The addition of these fields will allow the pharmacy to compare total reimbursement to total UsualAndCustomary. Considering the third-party category inclusions during the analysis will be helpful as the pharmacy may group third parties into categories that provide insight into performance.

+ Add Priority to Search Sales Advanced Tab

A search filter for prescription Priority is now available in the Search Sales Advanced Search area.

The pharmacy has created custom priorities for their patients to facilitate workflow direction, patient notification customization, and filtering in various reports. Now the pharmacy can review sales transactions for each priority to optimize scheduling and staffing.

+ Add PatientSSNLastFour, PrimaryThirdPartyStartDate, PrescriberNPI, and FriendlyFilter to Rx Search Export Template

The PatientSSNLastFour, PrimaryThirdPartyStartDate, PrescriberNPI, and FriendlyFilter data fields are now available on the Rx Search Export report template. This template does not have a report by default and will have to be manually switched to using the report properties if needed.

These fields will not be on any reports by default and will have to be manually added if needed.

The FriendlyFilter data field will provide an overview of search filters applied in the Advanced Search area to generate the report content.

Export reports allow the pharmacy to share records in a format that can be easily imported into a spreadsheet. The addition of these fields adds to the robust offerings in the versatile Rx Search reports.

+ Add Save as File to Image View Tools

Users can now quickly save Documents throughout the system directly to a local computer without utilizing the Windows Print to PDF steps.

+ Add Primary Category to Suppliers and Supplier Advanced Search Grid

This will be extremely useful for Central Pharmacies which need to be able to sort suppliers based on location. Suppliers can be added to categories based on their location and sorted appropriately making workflow and ordering more efficient.

+ Add CardOnFileExpirationDate to Sale Receipt

This addition will help the pharmacy proactively update the patient's pay method before expiration. This will ensure that the patient's next delivery can be processed without delay.

+ Make Expiration Dates Clearer on Rx Summary

Implemented changes to ensure expiration dates are more clear on the Rx Summary and to use the system date instead of the written date when recalculating the drug expiration date, if the Recalculate box is checked.

+ DSCSA: Ability to Capture and Record Info on Transaction

Implemented 2D barcode scanning as part of ongoing efforts to accommodate the DSCSA (Drug Supply Chain Security Act). Note: The Honeywell Genesis 7580 scanner is required for use.

+ Add NP/PA and Brand Drug to Transfer Form

If the doctor on a prescription is an NP/PA, implemented the printing of their name, address, phone, NPI, and DEA on the printed and faxed versions of the Transfer Form to meet state requirements. Previously only the supervising physician printed. Also added the brand drug name to the Transfer Form in addition to the generic drug if the prescription has both a prescribed drug and a dispensed drug. Previously the receiving pharmacist could only see the dispensed drug.
